CE Requirements:

16 hours of continuing education for most active practitioners, which must include the Mandatory courses


Licensees who are 65 or older - No CE is required.
Licensees who are 75% disabled - No CE is required.

All continuing education requirements may be completed through home study.

  • The TFSC no longer wants providers to inform them of who has completed CE, but YOU must complete the renewal process.
  • When you renew with the TFSC online you do not need to send certificates.
  • You do need to send certificates when you renew by mail.
  • Always keep a copy of your certificates in case you are audited.
Testing: Required for home study in order to certify completion of course materials. APEX testing is "OPEN BOOK," which means you have access to course materials while taking each quiz.

License Renewal Deadline: Every two years on the last day of your birth month.

CE Carryover Policy: You may NOT carryover any CE hours.
